Basing on our organization’s object five, “To enhance total health wellbeing of vulnerable community households.” And high number of widows who were coming to office to seek help of education support to their children, shelter, treatment and food. We felt need to initiate widows project aiming at supporting widows by addressing their social and economic challenges focusing on empowering widows through various means, such as providing access to healthcare, education, economic opportunities, shelter, legal support and addressing cultural and social norms that contribute to the marginalization of widows.

Economic Empowerment

improve widows' economic well-being through formed groups train them on home economics skills, link them to access microfinance, and support for income-generating activities.

Social Inclusion

combat social stigma and discrimination against widows by raising awareness and promoting their inclusion in community life.

Legal Rights

provide legal assistance to widows to protect their rights to property, inheritance, and other legal entitlements.

Healthcare Access

Ensuring access to healthcare services, including reproductive health and mental health support.

Addressing Gender-Based Violence

address gender-based violence and provide support services to widows who have experienced violenc

Partner With Us

Partnership

The organization aim to partner with like-minded well-wishers, cooperate bodies and non-governmental organizations.
Currently we are partnering with Christian Aid Ministry {CAM} on nutrition access progromme. In April this year through support of CAM we were able to visit three hundred widows’ households and documented families’ need and gave following support;

Nutrition Access – One hundred and fifty households received food basket of:

Shelter – houses are constructed for families that are living under linking roof under house of
hope programme.
